Talent Development Advisor
Description

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the incumbent will be responsible for all activities relating to talent/skills development, both strategic and operational. He/she will provide advice, guidance, supervision, support and tools required by the various sectors to develop, implement, centralize and ensure the sustainability of training plans/programs and contribute to the development of a learning culture.

More specifically, the incumbent will meet the following professional challenges:

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive skills development strategies and plans, aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop policies/procedures relating to skills development.
  • Develop, implement and coordinate programs, plans, processes, procedures and tools required in response to current and future needs.
  • Develop and implement career paths by sector / function.
  • Develop an in-person / online training offering.
  • Provide advisory, facilitation and support services relating to skills development.
  • Work closely with experts in each sector.
  • Centralize, update and ensure accessibility of the developed material.
  • Develop and track established performance indicators.
  • Manage and account for training costs.
  • Identify and manage different suppliers and ensure their quality.
  • Actively participate in various organizational development projects.
  • Stay informed of trends, developments and best practices in the area of skills development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge of various training methods: mentoring, coaching, on-the-job, classroom and online training, workshops, simulation exercises, etc.
  • Bilingualism: ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing (English and French).
